Education

I am currently a 3rd year Elementary Education student Western Governors University with a 3.0 GPA. I will be completing my degree in one more year, which will include a semester of student teaching in either the elementary or the middle school level. I previously attended Missouri State University for a year and half, and had a 3.28 GPA when I transferred.

Experience

I have previously tutored college level students on reading and writing. I have also spent time observing in the classroom at an elementary and middle school level. My SAT score was an 1130. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping people learn. I enjoy the look of amazement as something finally clicks in the mind of someone learning. I also want to be a tutor because it will be a good experience for when I begin teaching. I have taken all of the methods classes for teaching elementary and middle school education. I have also taken college level math, social studies, reading, writing, and science classes.

I play lots of video games, and love reading fantasy books. I also enjoy watching historical documentaries as well as watching science documentaries. I also enjoy working with special needs children, and have worked with special needs children in the past. I also enjoy taking apart and putting things back together, such as computers, phones, and other electronic devices.
